Mukesh qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and has over 20 years’ experience in Defendant litigation. He is an experienced Solicitor operating predominantly in the motor, public and employer liability fields. Mukesh also has experience in jurisdictional, coverage and council disputes.

Throughout his career Mukesh has developed and harnessed his technical knowledge to allow him to take on more complex and higher value cases to deliver great results for clients. He has worked for numerous insurers and self-insured companies.

Mukesh began his legal career with Lyons Davidson Solicitors assisting with the set up and emergence of the Plymouth and Solihull offices and undertaking his Training Contract. Part of his training involved advocacy and conducting small claim, infant approval, application and directions hearings. Mukesh then joined Browne Jacobson LLP in 2011, which provided him with the platform to further develop and broaden his legal knowledge in handling domestic and foreign insurance litigated claims including personal injury, fatal, property damage and credit hire claims. He also managed employment/public liability together with Highway and Disrepair claims cases for various Local Councils and National Companies.

By 2018 Mukesh was supervising, training and had responsibility for junior handlers. He was also assisting Partners on Catastrophic/large loss cases reserved over £1million including researching and attending client and expert conferences and round table negotiations.

During his employment with Browne Jacobson, Mukesh was a founding member and President of Tomorrow’s Foil, which aimed to represent and provide a voice for junior lawyers and insurance handlers. The group organised practical talks on differing areas of law/insurance, circulated newsletters and articles on relevant issues and organised social networking events at Lloyds of London and Kensington Roof Gardens.

Joining Strata Solicitors in 2021, Mukesh saw the opportunity as a new and exciting challenge with a relatively small firm but with huge potential. He has worked here for approaching 4 years and has taken an assisting lead in growing and developing the team to allow them to develop their client portfolio and handle higher value cases.
