Partner Amal has graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Jordan in 2002, Amal specializes in Commercial, Banking and Corporate litigation before the UAE Courts. She was admitted before all courts of the UAE and has significant experience in the legal departments of several banks in the UAE since 2003. Her areas of expertise also include Intellectual Property, Real Estate and Arbitration.

Amr is a founding partner at NHB LEGAL, wielding an extensive legal background. His expertise is anchored in a unique blend of experiences—having navigated both common law and civil law systems due to his education in the United Kingdom, being admitted as an attorney in New York, and amassing 17 years of practice in the UAE. Throughout his career, he was deeply involved in litigation and arbitration across diverse sectors encompassing real estate development, banking, construction, and family offices. Amr has led high-stakes disputes involving shareholders, intricate jurisdictional matters, cross-border white-collar investigations, and asset recovery. His profound insights and hands-on strategies have positioned him as a trusted advisor to numerous international law firms, both in Dubai and abroad. He frequently serves as a UAE law expert in arbitration and court proceedings spanning Dubai, the United Kingdom, Canada and France. Furthermore, Amr takes charge as a seasoned counsel in cases overseen by major regional institutions like the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).

Elhassan Abdelrazek

Elhassan boasts over 16 years of expansive expertise across multiple Middle Eastern jurisdictions, including the UAE, Kuwait, and Egypt. His focus lies in specialized areas such as banking and finance, commercial transactions, corporate law, and commercial matters. He earned his BA in Law from Cairo University's Faculty of Law (English Department) and furthered his legal acumen with an LLM degree from the Indiana University School of Law, specializing in International and Comparative Law. As a key contributor within teams, Elhassan played an integral role in orchestrating numerous pivotal banking and finance transactions for SHUAA Capital PSC in both the UAE and the broader GCC region. His career spanned over a decade within prominent private practice firms in the region, where he represented major GCC and international clients. Notable among these were institutions such as National Bank of Kuwait, JP Morgan, Warba Bank, Emirates NBD, Buobyan Bank, Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Gulf Bank, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kharafi National, and Rasameel Structured Finance, engaging in high-profile transactions. His expertise extends across a spectrum of services, offering comprehensive advisory in areas including M&A, banking and finance, debt restructuring, real estate, corporate and commercial law, insolvency and bankruptcy, corporate structuring, and tax consultation.

Evelina Gurtskaya

Associate - Dispute Resolution Evelina Gurtskaya is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team at NHB Legal. She has experience representing high-net-worth individuals and multinational corporations in complex, high-value disputes. Evelina received her legal training and qualification in London, UK, where she gained valuable experience working with clients across various sectors and industries. She has a strong understanding of her clients' interests and how businesses operate. Prior to joining NHB Legal, she worked at a top 100 law firm in the UK, where she handled national and international corporate transactions, including venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. Evelina has extensive international experience and is fluent in both English and Russian. She brings a unique perspective and cultural understanding to her work at NHB Legal.

Hassan Abdel Tawab

With 31 years of legal practice, Hassan adds a wealth of experience to our litigation team. Specialising in commercial and real estate disputes, he represents clients before local courts across the UAE. His client portfolio includes large family-owned groups with diverse activities in construction, automotive, and real estate sectors.

Mahmoud is a legal professional with 8 years of experience specializing in insurance, criminal, commercial, and real estate disputes in UAE courts. His strong focus on legal research equips him to navigate complex litigation. He represents clients in real estate development, facility management, and property management, and is also active in white-collar crime cases.

Associate- Advisory Mirna boasts extensive transactional expertise across corporate, M&A, and real estate sectors, adeptly serving both Sellers and Buyers. Her focus lies in offering legal counsel on diverse corporate affairs such as capital raising, restructuring, and pre-contentious matters. Representing government entities, international corporations, and local businesses, Mirna's portfolio reflects her versatility and dedication. Previously, Mirna contributed to a prominent UK startup, aiding founders in capital raising and devising share option schemes. Rahma Elkhashab

Holding a law degree from Ain Shams University (2019) and a master’s in Private Law and International Trade Law (2022), Rahma is a registered legal consultant in Dubai, bringing extensive experience in managing a range of commercial disputes, including those involving commercial contracts, securities, financial institutions, fraud and misrepresentation, bankruptcy, enforcement, and shareholders' disputes. Her practice is focused on cross-border matters and Arab Civil Law.

She holds a master's degree in international Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law. Somya has successfully handled a high volume of international arbitration cases with an impressive success rate. Somya specializes in handling construction and infrastructure disputes, with experience in a wide range of projects, including hydro-power projects, luxury hotels, condominiums, residential townships, major airports, public stadiums, commercial building complexes, and restoration of national historical buildings.
