Mr. Mohammad Faraji, who initially joined DadFlamingo as a Legal Intern, has since been promoted to a Legal Associate, becoming a highly valued member of the firm. During his time at DadFlamingo, he contributed to several international arbitration cases, supported legal counsel work on solar energy projects, and undertook an internal research project, gaining well-rounded, hands-on experience across the firm's core practice areas. Mr. Faraji holds an LLM in Oil & Gas Law from the University of Tehran, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class. He is also a published researcher in Oil & Gas and Maritime Law, and his expertise is matched by strong advocacy credentials: he represented the University of Tehran as an Oralist in both the 2024 Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot and the 32nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. He coached Kharazmi University's team in the 33rd Vis Moot, where he also served as an arbitrator, sharing his experience with the next generation of advocates. Notable highlights include:
· Mr. Faraji has been an integral part of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, participating as an oralist, researcher, coach, and arbitrator. This extensive engagement, alongside his participation in the 2024 FDI Moot as an oralist, has honed his advocacy skills, deepened his practical understanding of arbitration proceedings, and demonstrated his commitment to excellence in the field, further solidifying his expertise in international arbitration.
· Academically, Mr. Faraji has distinguished himself through a robust publication record. He is the author of several impactful journal articles, has contributed significantly to an academic book currently in final stages of publication, and currently has multiple manuscripts under review in both prestigious Iranian and foreign English law journals. These contributions reflect his strong analytical capabilities, commitment to legal scholarship, and ability to contribute to the evolving discourse in various legal domains.
· Mr. Faraji is fully proficient in Farsi and English, and Russian, enabling him to navigate diverse international legal landscapes.
