Alexis Rapp is a partner at VOLT Associés, where he heads the Restructuring and Litigation department.

He has extensive experience in handling corporate distress situations, both in the context of preventive measures and insolvency proceedings. Alexis advises lenders, institutional lessors, industrial groups, executives, and shareholders on complex restructuring transactions and business takeovers involving distressed companies. His practice also covers litigation related to insolvency and collective proceedings.

Before joining VOLT Associés in 2020 to establish the firm’s Restructuring and Distressed Companies department, Alexis practiced in leading law firms, including Clifford Chance in Paris and Pardieu Brocas Maffei.

Alexis was a lecturer in restructuring and insolvency law at the University of Nanterre for eight years and has also taught at the Paris Bar School (EFB) in workshops dedicated to insolvency proceedings. He is the author of several articles published in specialized legal and professional journals.

His expertise in restructuring is recognized by international guides and professional rankings. Alexis is regularly listed in Legal 500, Leaders League, Best Lawyers, IFLR 1000, and Option Droit & Affaires in categories such as restructuring, litigation, banking and creditor advice, mid-cap companies, and shareholder representation.
