Mohammad Meslet Abu Raqabah is the Founder and Chairman of MMA Law and one of Kuwait’s most seasoned legal and commercial strategists. His career began in the business world, where he served as the CEO of a publicly listed company on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, giving him a rare blend of practical, commercial, and legal insight that now spans more than two decades. His multidisciplinary experience covers banking and finance, oil and gas, construction, food industries, and information technology, enabling him to bring unmatched industry knowledge to the legal sector.

Mohammad Abu Raqabah has acted as a trusted legal counsel to major entities and international investors seeking to enter or expand in Kuwait and the Middle East, advising on commercial, regulatory, and cross-border matters. His deep understanding of Kuwait’s legislative environment positioned him to participate in drafting and amending several impactful laws and regulations—many of which were recently approved by Parliament—particularly those shaping commercial policy and business activity in the country.

Motivated by a vision to elevate the legal profession in Kuwait, he established MMA Law to provide world-class legal advisory services to national and international companies.

Obtained the first-ever administrative court judgment against the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a governmental entity.

Delivered high-level legal strategy to one of Saudi Arabia’s largest private companies in the oil and gas sector, supporting their expansion plans into Kuwait.

Successfully defended an international oil and gas contractor in a USD 135 million litigation initiated by a subcontractor.

Advised one of the world’s leading food-industry companies on their entry strategy into Kuwait, enabling them to secure a significant share of the local market.

Guided and managed a public tender procedure in the IT sector, resulting in a successfully awarded project valued at USD 15 million.

Managed negotiations and legal strategy for an amicable settlement of USD 35 million involving an international contractor and Kuwait’s largest governmental oil company.

Represented a subcontractor in successfully nullifying an arbitration clause in a high-value construction contract with a major international contractor in the oil sector.
