Counsel with a solid professional background, Elena is a prime litigator for energy disputes, real estate litigation, competition claims and commercial cases across a number of industry sectors, including oil, transport, luxury and food & beverage. With Hogan Lovells since 2004, Elena developed a deep and thorough knowledge in oil & gas contentious and pre-contentious matters, successfully assisting a leading International oil company on oil and non-oil service stations' litigation and in a high number of contractual and real estate issues.

With over 10 years' experience in this specific area, Elena strengthened her legal background with a post-graduate degree in Energy Law at LUISS Guido Carli (University of Rome). Elena speaks Portuguese fluently and is one of the few Italian lawyers familiar with Portuguese laws. With previous experiences as in-house in a primary telecommunication’s company and as secondee in a major international oil company, Elena is always able to fit clients' needs and expectations. Focused on clients' satisfaction, Elena is used to handle complex cases in different practice areas and has developed a strong ability to “identify” issues and solutions to reach clients' goals.
