Emma  Leavesley
Emma Leavesley
Emma is a Partner in the Family Law team.  She has a broad range of experience and specialises in all aspects of family law including divorce and separation, finances, arrangements for children and advising on the breakdown of cohabitating relationships.  Emma is also experienced in preparing pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and separation agreements. Experience Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2010.  Her training, which focused on family law, was at a firm in West London.  Over 10 years ago, Emma began working in the Thames Valley and has worked at a regional heavyweight firm and also at a Top Tier, Top 100 firm in Oxford for 4 years prior to moving to BP Collins.   She has worked with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds including in the film industry, the arts, the medical profession,  the motor industry and in academia.  She is meticulous in her approach and works hard for clients to help them achieve the best possible outcome.  She thinks strategically, pragmatically and constructively. Emma is a member of Resolution and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in complex financial remedies and private law children matters.   Emma has also completed her mediation training. Specialisms Emma is known for her empathetic approach with clients, which has seen her support and advise vulnerable clients through challenging cases, particularly those relating to children. Emma has completed her Mental Health First Aider training through Mental Health First Aid England which has assisted Emma in her awareness of the impact that a divorce and separation can have on an individual’s mental health.
Javita Malhotra
Javita Malhotra
Javita is a Partner in the family team and is experienced in advising on all aspects of family law including divorce and separation, financial matters, disputes relating to children and separation in respect of unmarried couples. Javita qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and since then has established a wide-ranging family practice. Her expertise includes providing advice on and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements to protect pre-acquired assets or future wealth. She has worked at firms in the Thames Valley for the last 6 years. Javita has a dogged determination to ensure that her clients' best interests are met whilst also providing support and reassurance to her clients in order to meet their objectives. Javita has been ranked as both a “rising star” and a “leading associate” in the Legal 500 directory which noted that she attended to the client’s needs “impeccably” and that they were “confident of a good outcome” from the point of first contact. She is also a member of Resolution and strives to take a pragmatic approach to settling client matters. Javita has a particular specialism in complex high value financial matters with multi-jurisdictional issues as well as extensive experience in advising in complex disputes relating to children.
Jonathan Moss
Jonathan heads up the criminal law team at B P Collins LLP. He specialises in all areas of criminal defence, including road traffic and regulatory law. He has acquired an in-depth knowledge in these areas of law and he can advise and attend any interviews under caution conducted by authorities such as the Police, Environment Agency, Environmental Health, HMRC, Department for Work and Pensions and other Government departments. He will also prepare any case, should you or your company ever be required to attend a criminal court. Jonothan can also advise on options available including assisting with your Victims' Right to Review, should you be the victim of crime and the CPS or Police unreasonably refuse to prosecute an offender in your case. Jonothan has been able to set aside initial decisions made by the authorities by making challenges to an investigation and holding to account those whose duty it is to prosecute cases. Experience With over 30 years of experience, Jonathan has represented numerous individuals and companies across the Thames Valley who have been investigated by the authorities over a wide range of issues, including large-scale fraud cases, environmental breaches, dangerous dog cases, and fatal road traffic matters. He has also taken two cases to the Supreme Court, the highest court in the UK. Jonothan is accredited individually by The Law Society for his expertise in Criminal Litigation.
Naadim Shamji
Naadim Shamji
Naadim is a Senior Associate in the Private Client team. He works with clients from a variety of backgrounds, principally across Buckinghamshire and London. He advises on all aspects of private client work including wills, estate planning, inheritance tax, loan agreements, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection applications (including deputyships) and probate, among other areas. Specialisms Naadim has particular expertise advising on asset protection, typically through the use of trusts and loans agreements. A common scenario he assists with is parents seeking to advance money to their adult children (e.g. towards the purchase of a property) while protecting their capital in the event their children later divorce. Naadim has assisted on a number of complex Court of Protection applications. Other achievements In addition to two degrees, Naadim holds a Diploma in Trusts and Estates from the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP). Naadim achieved a Merit overall, and a Distinction on the paper for Taxation of Trusts and Estates, the hardest paper in the Diploma. Naadim is a Full Member of STEP. He is entitled to use of the designation ‘TEP’ (Trust and Estate Practitioner).  Naadim is also included on the Pro Bono Recognition list for 2024 and 2025 for the work he completes in his spare time. Naadim has assisted with an application to the High Court to have a missing person declared dead, one of only a handful of such applications a year. Naadim currently serves in a voluntary capacity as a member of Legal Committee of the Ismaili National Council (UK) and was appointed in 2023 to the National Conciliation and Arbitration Board for the UK by the Aga Khan. He is also a trained facilitator on Ethical Wealth Transfer and Inheritance Planning for the Ismaili community.

Matthew Tebbot
Matthew is a partner in the residential property department and deals with a wide range of residential property matters. His main emphasis is on the acquisition and disposal of both leasehold and freehold properties for high-net-worth individuals, developers and property investment companies. Specific areas of expertise include resolving title matters, portfolio acquisition, re-financing, sales and purchases at auction, freehold estate disposals, residential development sales, new-build purchases, luxury senior living sales and purchases, equity release, voluntary lease extensions and landlord and tenant matters. Experience Matthew has acted on the purchase of a £52m penthouse apartment and sales of apartments worth over £30m. Matthew is a trusted advisor to one of London’s largest landlords, for whom he has worked on several portfolio acquisitions and block disposals and numerous leasehold and freehold sales and purchases. Matthew has overseen the sales of new apartments at some of London’s most prestigious developments and has worked for some of the UK’s largest property developers.
