Spartak Yovchev is the Managing Partner of CasePro Law Firm and leads the firm’s М§А, Real Estate, Banking & Finance, and Commercial practices. He is recognized for advising multinational clients, investors, and financial institutions on complex, cross-border transactions in Bulgaria and the wider region.
Spartak combines deep transactional expertise with a strong commercial background, having played a central role in major banking sector transformations in Bulgaria and in establishing the legal frameworks and processes of financial institutions. His banking practice includes advising on the structuring and documentation of financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans, as well as complex security packages.
His practice is particularly focused on projects at the intersection of real estate, corporate, and financing work. He regularly advises on large-scale development projects, strategic acquisitions, and investment structures, including commercial and residential developments, logistics and retail assets, and renewable energy projects. He is also experienced in handling the real estate aspects of multi-jurisdictional expansion programmes for international clients.
In addition to his transactional work, Spartak is actively involved in M&A and venture capital transactions, advising both investors and founders on deal structuring and negotiations. He also brings a strategic perspective in contentious matters, supporting clients in complex real estate and commercial disputes, particularly where these are closely linked to transactional or regulatory issues.
Recent experience includes advising international clients on multi-site real estate expansion programmes across Bulgaria and Romania, the development of industrial and production facilities, as well as innovative energy-related transactions, including power purchase agreements (PPAs).
