Peter’s practice focuses on construction and engineering disputes. Having previously served as a Legal Counsel for a leading architectural consultancy firm in Hong Kong, Peter has a deep understanding of the commercial and technical pressures facing project participants and brings a distinct “client-side” perspective to his practice.
Peter advises a broad range of clients —including employers, contractors, and consultants — on arbitration, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution, offering pragmatic strategies that align legal risk with the operational realities of the construction industry.
Peter rejoins the firm with a practical understanding of the challenges inherent in the Hong Kong construction landscape. Peter draws upon a deep familiarity with industry-standard contract suites, such as the HKIA and NEC forms, to assist clients in resolving complex project issues.
During his time at a leading architectural consultancy firm, Peter gained valuable insight into the operational lifecycle of large-scale developments which allows him to adopt a proactive approach to dispute resolution. Peter is well-versed in the evolving regulatory environment in Hong Kong, particularly, the implementation of the Construction Industry Security of Payment Ordinance (Cap. 652).
Peter is committed to delivering legal advice that is meticulously informed by the commercial and technical mandates of each project. By prioritising the client’s core objectives, Peter ensures that resolution strategies are both legally robust and aligned with the complexities of the construction sector.
Peter speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
