Nándor Beck

Nándor Beck is a counsel in the firm’s Corporate and M&A team, working on corporate matters and M&A and private equity transactions. Nándor also has a post graduate degree in employment law and advises on labour matters. Before joining to the firm, Nándor spent years with an international law firm working on M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and investments, as well as energy matters and real estate projects.

Andrea Belényi

Andrea Belényi leads VJT & Partners’ Regulatory & Compliance team and has been with the firm for nearly 10 years. She has more than 25 years of diverse professional experience and is a trusted adviser on complex regulatory, compliance and technology matters. Andrea is involved in a large number of the firm’s key client mandates and plays a leading role in many of its major compliance projects. Her experience includes senior work at the Hungarian Competition Authority, giving her strong insight into regulatory decision-making and enforcement practice. In addition to her work in more traditional areas such as competition law and data protection, she is increasingly focused on AI and other areas of law that are of growing importance to businesses today. She is valued for her broad expertise, practical approach and ability to manage sophisticated projects with consistency and sound judgment. In addition to leading the firm’s regulatory and compliance practice, she is deeply involved in the firm’s technology-related matters.

Zoltán Csernus

Zoltán Csernus is a senior employment lawyer, expert in contentious and non-contentious labour matters. He has been advising local and multinational employers, as well as executive employees for over a decade. He specialises in employment litigation and he frequently advises on TUPE matters, employment agreements and terminations, employer policies, internal investigations and disciplinary measures. Counsel at VJT & Partners since 2010. Admitted to Budapest Bar Association in 2004.

András Lovretity

Corporate/M&A practice leader András Lovretity is expert in leading M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions both domestic and cross-border, as well as in corporate matters, both contentious and non-contentious, and corporate restructurings, across a wide variety of industries. He specialises in joint ventures. He has nearly 20 years of experience in these areas. Partner at VJT & Partners since 2015. Admitted to Budapest Bar Association in 2005.

Endre Varady

Endre has substantial international experience in data protection, digital transformation and other information communication technology matters. Endre is active in localization of cross-border digital products. He is also the firm’s leading figure who handles cross-border TMT matters on a referral basis for reputable international law firms. He is the head of the VJT & Partners award-winning data protection team and the main developer of the legal content of the Adatsólyom, GDPR compliance software. His experience also includes drafting and negotiating cloud computing-based deals for both customers and suppliers in a range of industries, including IT and insurance.

János Tamás Varga

János Tamás Varga is the founder and managing partner of VJT & Partners. He developed real expertise and experience across a wide range of practices, transactions and legal matters with cross-border elements over the last 26 years. As an M&A specialist, he advises on international private equity, venture capital and strategic investments in Hungarian companies. Major industries of his activity include business services, communications, software development, information technology, manufacturing, consumer goods, real estate, financial sector, online media, healthcare and biotechnology. He also co-leads the firm’s Digital practice. He has advised market leading global digital services businesses on their Hungarian projects, IT outsourcing providers on their projects in the financial services, telecommunications, energy and utility industries, and he also advises leading financial services providers as customers of BPO services.
