Dispute resolution Tier 1Pérez-Llorca is particularly strong in cross-border litigation and arbitration matters, specialising in advising clients before the European Court of Justice. The firm’s expertise covers construction and energy disputes, banking and insurance litigation, unfair competition and asset-recovery issues. Félix J. Montero leads the practice and advises on civil and commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration. His team includes Juan Manuel Rodríguez Cárcamo, who specialises in the regulated sectors, notably energy, telecoms, media, banking and pharmaceuticals, and García Marrero, who was promoted to partner in 2020. José Ramón de Hoces advises on administrative and regulatory matters in public law, with expertise in public procurement, public sector restructuring and privatisation processes. He co-leads the practice with Juan Manuel Rodríguez Cárcamo, who is known for public procurement, litigation, infrastructure, transport and project finance. Pérez-Llorca has particular experience in takeover bids, IPOs, public M&A and corporate governance of listed companies. The firm also assists listed companies subject to strict regulations on their M&A transactions, as well as advising on debt capital market transactions involving bond issuances and other type of debt products.
