Intellectual Property

Tom Dettmer is an Associate at Fieldfisher’s Berlin office, advising on Intellectual Property.

His work focuses on trademark, design, and copyright law. He also advises our clients on matters of competition law. His work covers both strategic advice on IP rights and representing clients in out-of-court and in-court disputes involving IP rights and competition law issues.

Before joining Fieldfisher, he worked as a lawyer at a boutique law firm specializing in IP law.

He advises our clients in German and English.

Tom Dettmer is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).

He studied at the University of Potsdam. During his legal traineeship, he completed placements at international corporate law firms in the field of intellectual property. He also worked for many years as a research associate at an IP-boutique.
