Christoffer Benninge

Partner Christoffer Benninge is specialized in public and private M&A, capital markets transactions, and corporate advisory. Christoffer has extensive experience working within several industries, including financial institutions, energy and life sciences. He has acted as advisor in several high-profile Swedish and international transactions and restructurings in the past years.

Carl Brodén, Senior Advisor, Finance & Restructuring has broad experience in a wide range of finance-related matters, with a particular focus on restructuring and insolvency, as well as structured finance. In addition to a Swedish LL.M. degree, he has a post-graduate degree from the University of Oxford (M.Jur.) and an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. Prior to joining Roschier, Carl held the position as Head of Trustee Services at CorpNordic. He has also more than ten years' experience as a financing lawyer at another major Swedish law firm.

Partner Pontus Enquist heads the firm's Equity Capital Markets, Private Funds, and Public M&A practices in Sweden. Apart from public and private equity capital markets, he specializes in public M&A and general corporate advisory. He also has extensive experience in private equity and real property fund formation, various co-investment structures and incentive schemes. He is regularly involved in complex Swedish and international transactions, as well as investment structuring.

Partner Erik Ficks is Head of Roschier's Intellectual Property, Brand Protection, Marketing & Consumer, and Public Procurement practices. He is specialized in matters of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property (IP) work, including matters of marketing law and trade secrets, as well as in public procurement matters in several industry sectors. Erik has extensive experience from acting as counsel in arbitration proceedings and before national courts, including in multi-jurisdictional IP litigation and in administrative appeals. He also has extensive experience from multi-jurisdictional IP licensing, brand protection, technology transfers and collaborations and complex commercial contracts.

Partner Marcus Hedén is Head of Roschier's Real Estate and Complex Construction practices in Sweden. He is specialized in real estate transactions, real estate finance and private M&A. Marcus has broad experience in serving international and domestic clients in cross-border transactions, prestige developments and complex environmental issues.

Kristian Hugmark

Kristian Hugmark, Partner and Head of the Stockholm office, is also Head of Roschier’s EU & Competition practice and co-Head of the Corporate Compliance & Investigations practice in Sweden. He practices in all areas of competition law and state aid in Sweden and in the EU, across all industries. Kristian is also experienced in advising on regulatory matters, in particular related to the transport and telecom industries. Before joining Roschier in 2015, Kristian was based in Brussels for 13 years, working both for the European Commission and in private practice.

Lisa Hybbinette

Partner Lisa Hybbinette is Head of Roschier’s cross-border Real Estate practice. She has extensive experience in serving international and domestic clients in cross-border real estate transactions, joint-ventures and prestige development projects. She also has experience from infrastructure and energy related transactions.

Björn Johansson Heigis

Partner Björn Johansson Heigis is Head of Roschier's Digitalization & TMT, Data Protection, Outsourcing and Emerging Companies practices in Sweden. He is also specialized in intellectual property, dispute resolution, ICT and IP transactions, as well as data protection and licensing. Björn has extensive experience of acting as counsel in arbitration proceedings and before national courts. In addition to his LL.M. degree, Björn holds a post-graduate LL.M. degree from Bond University, Australia.

Partner Malin Leffler heads Roschier's Private M&A practice in Sweden. She is specialized in complex cross-border M&A transactions and private equity. Malin has extensive experience in leading negotiations and projects for major domestic and international private equity sponsors and corporate investors. In addition to the above, Malin is also specialized in fund structuring and representing sponsors and institutional investors in connection with fundraisings as well as investments in private equity funds.

Susanne Mellqvist

Susanne Mellqvist is a Counsel specializing in brand protection. She has worked in the intellectual property rights field since 1996, as a trademark attorney. Susanne has extensive experience in clearing, protecting and enforcing new brands for global use. She has managed large international trademark portfolios and worked with strategic advice in relation to these. Susanne is an Attorney at law and an authorized European trademark attorney.

Partner Markus Olsson is specializing in private M&A, private equity and energy & infrastructure. Markus has extensive experience in private M&A and private equity transactions, having represented major international private equity sponsors and corporate investors on large-scale domestic and cross-border transactions, including buy-outs, exits, joint ventures, restructurings and equity financings. He has advised on several transactions and other matters relating to infrastructure, as well as the energy sector. Markus also has experience from real estate transactions and large development projects.

Elin Osbeck is a Senior Associate working with Roschier’s Employment and Corporate Investigations & Compliance practices. Elin advises companies in e.g. disputes, employment matters in the financial regulatory context, data protection and employee privacy, discrimination, harassment and parental leave, mergers and acquisitions, senior management employment agreements and handling of collective bargaining agreement issues. Before she joined Roschier, Elin worked as Research Assistant within the field of employment law at the Faculty of Law, Lund University.

Senior Associate John Park is specializing in IT, intellectual property, commercial contracts and data protection. John has extensive experience from advising technology intensive clients in various IP and technology related matters, such as a wide range of complex commercial contracts, transactions and cross-border data protection compliance implementations.

Carl Persson is a Partner whose practice encompasses domestic and international commercial arbitration, as well as litigation. Carl has a dual degree in law and economics and specializes in disputes relating to M&A transactions, securities and finance, director and auditor liability and white-collar crime proceedings. He has acted as counsel in a significant number of arbitration and litigation proceedings in these areas. He also has extensive experience of energy-related disputes with an East-West angle. Carl’s work experience includes working as a Foreign Associate in the litigation department of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York.

Partner Shirin Saif is a member of the Dispute Resolution practice. She is an experienced commercial arbitration practitioner and litigator and her primary focus is international disputes involving complex technologies. Shirin has acted as counsel in telecommunications, construction and infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, product liability, IT, oil and gas, post-M&A, and various other commercial disputes before numerous judicial and arbitral bodies in Sweden and abroad. She also has significant experience as counsel in investment treaty arbitrations. Along with acting as counsel, Shirin also acts as an arbitrator and administrative secretary.

Partner Ola Sandersson is Head of the Corporate Advisory practice in Sweden. He is specialized in public and private M&A, equity capital markets and corporate advisory. Ola has extensive experience in Nordic and international M&A. He regularly acts for domestic and international industrial companies, holding companies and banks. He has also worked with investment banking for Lehman Brothers in London during 2001 and 2002.

Johan is the firmwide Managing Partner of Roschier. He also heads Roschier’s Dispute Resolution practice and is the co-Head of the Corporate Investigations & Compliance practice in Sweden. Johan specializes in commercial dispute resolution with extensive experience from international arbitration, often concerning energy-related disputes involving various Fortune500 companies and other multinationals. He has acted as counsel in some of the world’s largest arbitrations seated in Stockholm, London and Paris involving oil, gas, renewable energy and construction matters. In the area of investment arbitration Johan has experience from arbitrator appointments as well as advising both private investors and various governments as counsel, inter alia in matters concerning the Energy Charter Treaty and various bilateral investment treaties. Johan is the past President of the Swedish Arbitration Association (SAA) and has served two terms on the board of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC). He recently served on the Rules Revision Committee for the new 2023 SCC Rules. He is appointed by the Kingdom of Sweden to the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, maintained by the World Bank. He also serves on the Legal Advisory Task Force on Investment Protection at the Energy Charter Secretariat and he is an Executive Committee Member of RCAN. Johan has been the Headmaster of the SCC/SAA Arbitrator Training Program and has been a long-standing board member of Young Arbitrators Sweden. Johan is regularly appointed as arbitrator in both national and international disputes. He is also frequently engaged as speaker and moderator at various conferences and is lecturing on international arbitration and investment protection law at Stockholm University.

Veronica Stiller

Partner Veronica Stiller is a member of the Finance & Restructuring team. Her practice covers all aspects of debt financing including acquisition finance, real property finance, fund finance, asset-backed finance, high yield bonds and other debt capital market products. Veronica has an extensive experience from large international debt transactions and regularly represents national and international banks and other financial institutions as well as private equity investors and corporate borrowers.

Jenny Welander Wadström

Partner Jenny Welander Wadström is Head of the Employment and Corporate Investigations & Compliance practices in Sweden. She has extensive experience from a broad range of employment and pension law issues including advice relating to mergers and acquisitions as well as restructurings, various general employment law matters, disputes and negotiations. In addition to acting as counsel, she also acts as arbitrator. She has previously worked for another major law firm in Sweden, the Swedish Labour Court and Swedish Match AB.

Björn Winström

Partner Björn Winström is Head of Roschier’s Energy & Infrastructure, General Commercial and Industrial Investments practices in Sweden. He specializes in energy and infrastructure projects and transactions, but also has broad experience in private equity and corporate transactions. Björn regularly advises international private equity firms and large corporations on transactions. He has acted for several private equity sponsors in buy-outs, exits and restructurings, as well as large corporates in general M&A and corporate matters.
