Banking and finance Tier 1
Kromann Reumert handles the full spectrum of banking and finance work, and is particularly prominent in acquisition, structured and project financings. Jakob Bernhoft is a key figure in the group and has expertise in acquisition financings and debt restructurings; he advised Nykredit Bank and Nordea Bank on their joint financing of Axcel’s purchase of a majority stake in Mountain Top Industries. Marianne Philip jointly leads the practice and advised Bavarian Nordic on its issuance of new shares to Johnson & Johnson Innovation, and assisted Zealand Pharma with its IPO on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. In another highlight, fellow co-head Christian Lundgren acted for New Energy Investment, a Goldman Sachs subsidiary, on its bookbuild offering of shares in Dong Energy. M&A powerhouse Kromann Reumert works across a broad range of sectors on its deals with recent highlights including Henrik Møgelmose advising DLF Seeds on its acquisition of Syngenta's sugar beet seed business, Christian Lundgren assisting TDC with its sale to a consortium comprised of Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund, PFA Pension, PKA and ATP; and Christina Bruun Geertsen acting for Altor Fund IV on its acquisition of Tresu from Erhvervsinvest. Dispute resolution Tier 1
Kromann Reumert handles disputes and arbitrations for a client roster, which includes Dong Energy, Jyske Bank and SAS Denmark. Practice leader Jens Rostock-Jensen recently represented Scandinavian Airlines in a case relating to whether the airline owed compensation for flights delayed due to thunderstorms, Claus Juel Hansen acted for Finansiel Stabilitet in a DKK250m claim against the former directors, officers and auditors of Eik Bank Danmark, and media and entertainment specialist Martin Dahl Pedersen defended the Danish media against an injunction brought by The Danish Civil Security Service relating to a book, which contained confidential information. Frank Bøggild also acted for supermarket chain Coop in a dispute filed by Kasper Würtz alleging that the use of its products in advertisements was a breach of copyright law.
Employment Tier 1

Kromann Reumert advises on merger control matters, competition disputes and state aid issues; recent mandates include practice head Jens Munk Plum assisting Berlingske Media with its complaint against JP/Politiken Hus’ acquisition of the daily newspaper Børsen, and handling KPMG Denmark's merger with EY Denmark; and Erik Bertelsen defending Dong Energy against a damages claim brought by the competition authorities alleging excessive pricing. In a recent highlight, team head Søren Aamann Jensen advised the Danish Guarantee Fund on an investigation into a bankrupt Danish insurance agent, which sold insurance for a Liechtenstein-based insurance company, which also went bankrupt. Recent highlights include patent litigator and practice head Nicolai Lindgreen acting for Coloplast, which sought a preliminary injunction against MBH relating to the sale of a urinary catheter which allegedly infringed upon the client's patents; and trade mark and copyrights litigator Frank Bøggild representing Coop in a dispute regarding its use of ceramics and art in its adverts without the consent of the original artists. Kromann Reumert's expertise encompasses transactions, financings, leasing issues, project developments and procurement work. Recent highlights include Flemming Horn Andersen advising WP Carey on its acquisition of 14 logistics centres from Standard Life and subsequent let to DanskeFragtmænd, Jacob Møller assisting Coop with its sale of a real estate portfolio to Dades, Holger Schöer acting for Kirk Kapital on the construction of its new headquarters, and Søren Andreassen handling Heimstaden Bostad's sale of its residential portfolio to HB. Shipping and transport Tier 1
Kromann Reumert's practice is particularly strong in marine insurance, cargo recovery and casualty matters. In a recent highlight, the firm acted for Codan Insurance in a cargo recovery claim relating to cargo which was damaged during terminal handling. Litigator Jakob Rosing represented Guvnor in a claim against a storage provider, which wrongfully terminated a contract due to the contamination of oil storage tanks. Henrik Thal Jantzen is now with Hafnia Law Firm.
Tax Tier 1
Kromann Reumert's tax expertise encompasses transactional work, VAT matters, transfer pricing issues, incentive schemes, structuring mandates and tax litigation. Group co-head Arne Møllin Ottosen is an expert in corporate tax, transfer pricing work and litigation; and co-head Michael Nørremark is 'very helpful' and 'a solid, responsive adviser'. In a recent highlight, Nørremark advised Essberger Tankers on the tax structuring elements of its acquisition of Crystal Nordic.
