Yesterday, President Trump announced that he is nominating Rebecca Slaughter to the Federal Trade Commission.  Slaughter is currently Chief Counsel to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Slaughter is the fifth person (and second Democrat) who the President has nominated to the FTC.  She has worked for Senator Schumer since 2009.  Before that, she was an associate at Sidley Austin.  She graduated from Yale Law School in 2008.
