The Amsterdam Exchanges NV has joined the line-up of Internet Addresses (known as sites). In collaboration with Amsterdam's Free University (VU), the Stock Exchange's commercial subsidiary Beursdata introduced its own home page on the worldwide computer network several weeks ago. Among other things, the pages offer extensive Dutch and English-language information on the Amsterdam Exchanges NV.
Internet users will be able to read about the various trading systems and Amsterdam's listed stocks. The Amsterdam EOE Index may be viewed real-time and in chart form. The bourse's Internet pages will also feature up-to-date Artemis information as well as a summary description of the listed stocks. "Surfing on the ASE-Internet site brings the Amsterdam financial community into everyone's world," said General Manager Hans Brouwer.
The ASE is also considering extending this service to offer Stock Exchange members, listed companies, institutional investors and data vendors space on the Buersdata site.
