MFSA Submissions To Be Further Automated

The MFSA has issued a circular informing MiFID Firms that it has further automated the submission of the below returns with a view to facilitating further reporting requirements:

1. Appendix 2A – Financial Return for Category 1 & Category 4b;
2. Appendix 2C – Automated COREP Return for Category 2 & 3 Licence Holders.

As of 1st January 2016, Appendix 2A or Appendix 2C (as applicable) are to be submitted on-line through the MFSA's Licence Holder (LH) Portal which can be accessed through https://lhportal.mfsa.com.mt rather than through email and the FRE/D Portal.

Guidance on how to access the MFSA's Licence Holder Portal (LH) will be sent to all relevant Licence Holders by email.
