The Czech National Bank has widened the fluctuation band for exchange rates between Czech crown and other currencies from 0.5% to 7.5% from central parity. This will possibly have an impact on the use of financial derivatives, for example options or forward contracts, by Czech companies to minimise risks arising from the fluctuation of exchange rates.
