Welcome to our first vodcast news update.

Gadens Lawyers is Australia’s first major legal firm to embrace new communications technology to get its information to clients across Australia and overseas.

Partner of the firm’s Banking and Finance practice, Mr Jon Denovan is the first to vodcast clients with information, analysis and news. Vodcasts are audio-visuals through the use of broadband technology and can be accessed through the firm’s website.

His first two broadcasts (which can be accessed through the links below) cover identity fraud and Federal Government regulations to counteract this growing problem, and also e-conveyancing.

New laws are set to replace existing 100 point checks. The new requirements extend to all lenders and are not primarily confined to ADIs as is currently the case. Jon Denovan's two minute update indicates some of the challenges facing the finance industry. see vodcast
