  • Representing a subsidiary of New Fortress Energy in a proceeding before MARAD and the U.S. Coast Guard in connection with an application for all Federal authorizations required for a license to own, construct and operate a deepwater port for the export of LNG, filed with the agencies in March 2022, as well as in a proceeding before DOE for associated export authorizations. This is NFE ’s first floating liquefaction and export facility proposed in the US.
  • Represented Freeport LNG and its affiliates in proceedings before FERC, DOE and other agencies to obtain authorization to construct and operate the Freeport Liquefaction Project, the first liquefaction and export terminal authorized in Texas, as well as to secure authorization to export LNG from the facility.
  • Represented Driftwood LNG LLC (Driftwood LNG), a subsidiary of Tellurian, with respect to permitting matters before FERC, DOE and other agencies, as well as in other matters, related to the development of an LNG production and export terminal on the west bank of the Calcasieu River, south of Lake Charles, Louisiana (Driftwood LNG Terminal).

  • Represent PGC and AF&PA in the Florida Gas Transmission tariff proceedings concerning renewable natural gas (RNG) proposed pipeline gas quality standards. This case has the potential to set industry precedents in gas standards for pipelines transporting RNG nationwide. We also filed comments in opposition to the settlement proposal of FGT on RNG standards in July of 2024.
  • Representing Puget Sound Energy as the Operator of the Jackson Prairie Storage Project, an underground natural gas storage facility, with report of activity under blanket certificate authorization. In 2024, we filed an updated annual report under blanket certificate authority, and we are working on a supplement to that report.
  • Representing Local Distribution Company in Las Vegas, NV Energy, in FERC natural gas rate proceeding against Gas Transmission Northwest. These negotiations resulted in a settlement which is expected to have a substantial rate decrease.
