David is an experienced Criminal advocate who Prosecutes and Defends predominantly in Liverpool Crown Court. His practice is focused mainly on serious sexual offences but also incorporates Drug cases, offences of serious of violence, fraud and modern slavery.

David is a Category 3 Prosecutor and is on the CPS RASSO Panel. When Defending David often represents Defendants with particular vulnerabilities due to mental health issues and has significant experience with issues of fitness to plead.

Background

David read Law at Brunel University and was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 1990. He practised in London for 7 years prior to moving to Liverpool in 1997. David is a Criminal Law specialist who practises solely in this field.
