Zahid is an experienced family law barrister with a practice encompassing all areas of Children Law. He frequently represents parents, family members, Guardians, the Official Solicitor and local authority’s in care proceedings at all tiers of Court across the South West, often being led by QCs. He is also instructed in contact, residence, shared residence, internal and external relocation cases and cases involving rule 16.4 Guardians.
Zahid is experienced in undertaking complex finding of fact hearings involving allegations of physical and sexual abuse, NAI & cases involving issues of mental health, learning difficulties, substance misuse and domestic violence. Described as meticulous and beyond thorough, Zahid is an empathetic and strong advocate favoured by solicitors and clients all around.
