Called in 2009, Yusuf Solley is regularly instructed in all aspects of criminal law, regulatory law, and cases with a public law element to them. He defends across the board in serious crime, including murder and high value frauds. He has a particular expertise in dealing with clients with mental health issues, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, and appeared in the most recent leading Court of Appeal case on sentencing offenders with mental health issues. He also has experience in defending doctors and other medical practitioners in regulatory proceedings. He is a hard-working and charismatic barrister who has been led in high profile and serious cases over the last few years by a variety of silks at the Bar.
