Career

Jay is an Associate within our Commercial team.

His first seat was in the Gatwick Corporate team. He assisted on several transactions including the Management buy-out and sale of Small Batch Coffee Company Limited to Risk Capital Limited and investor Luke Johnson which has been nominated as Deal of the Year at the Insider’s South East Dealmakers Awards 2016, and the share sale of e-learning company Brightwave Limited to Capita PLC.

Jay’s second seat was in the Commercial Real Estate Group, and his third within the Gatwick Dispute Resolution team. He has now qualified into our Commerical Group.

Jay was previously a Paralegal in the firm’s Real Estate Property Portfolio Management Team before becoming at trainee in 2014. He worked with a number of large commercial clients on their residential property portfolios.

Jay studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science before completing the Graduate Diploma of Law and Legal Practitioner’s Course at BPP Law School, London.

Prior to joining DMH Stallard, Jay interned at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP in Dubai and London working on a number of Islamic Finance transactions and assisting with work for the Iranian finance ministry.
