Kaja Reiff-Musgrove
Position
Kaja acts as a junior and leading junior in a broad spectrum of serious criminal cases. She has been instructed in numerous murder, attempted murder, kidnap, firearms, drugs, fraud, blackmail, rape and child cruelty trials. She has particular experience in defending allegations made against professionals by children and other vulnerable complainants, cases involving complex medical issues and mental health. In addition to her defence practice, Kaja is a level 3 approved prosecutor for the CPS and is on the specialist rape prosecution panel. Kaja has also been instructed in many inquests including those involving deaths in custody. Her regulatory work has included food safety, proceedings before the GTC, now the Teaching Agency and police disciplinary proceedings.
