Career

Robb is a senior counsel in Dentons’ Toronto office and leads the firm’s Securities Litigation Group. With over 30 years experience as a litigation specialist, Robb has acted as lead counsel in many complex and precedent setting securities and commercial cases in Canada and regularly acts for corporate clients including banks, investment firms, underwriters, portfolio managers and professional service firms. He successfully represented a national professional services firm in the first class action in Ontario under the Ontario Class Proceedings Act and has since been engaged on behalf of corporate clients in many class actions brought by shareholders, lenders, and other creditors. He has acted in proxy fights, hostile take-overs and has appeared before securities’ regulators on compliance issues. A proponent of alternative dispute resolution, Robb has also been involved in many negotiated settlements, mediations, and arbitrations.
