Yves St-Cyr is a partner in the Dentons Canada’s Toronto office, and is a member Tax Law group. His practice focuses on tax litigation (income tax and GST/HST/QST) and on commercial transactions pertaining to corporate reorganizations, financings, and the sale and purchase of business or real estate for GST/HST/QST purposes.

Yves has experience requesting interpretations or rulings from the tax authorities for GST/HST/QST purposes and voluntary disclosures in either income tax or GST/HST/QST matters.

He has argued several income tax and GST/HST/QST cases before the Quebec Court, Quebec Superior Court, Quebec Court of Appeal, Tax Court of Canada, Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal. He has also made written representations to the Supreme Court of Canada.
