Career
Oliver Fowler qualified as a Kenyan Advocate and an English Solicitor. After admission as an English Solicitor, he joined Kaplan & Stratton in 1978 and became a partner in 1981. His work encompasses commercial work, particularly financial, corporate and taxation matters. He has extensive experience in project finance work, capital markets and banking and finance.
Some of the notable transactions he has been involved in include: the reverse take-over of City Trust Limited (now I&M Holdings Limited); advising REA Vipingo Plantations Limited in connection with its contested take-over by REA Trading Limited and sale of Vipingo Estate; the Government sovereign bond issues of 2014 and 2018.
