Partner and head of the Aviation practice area. Miguel specialises on Aviation and International Economic Law.

Career

He has been Director at the Office of the Attorney General and of the Public Prosecutor (1984), Arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce of Lima for transport and integration issues (2000), President of the Latin-American Association of Aeronautic Law Peru (2006), National Mandatary of major international airlines such as KLM, Air Canada, and COPA. Miguel has taken part in the drafting of the Peruvian Civil Aeronautical Law and its regulation. In this context he has advised the Transport and Infrastructure Committee of the Peruvian Congress, as well as the Ministry of Transports and Communications (MTC). In addition, he has actively participated in the drafting of the Andean Community 619 Decision which rules Civil Aviation Consumer Protection.
