Career

Ricardo Botelho has broad experience in representing clients before CADE in investigations of cartel and other anticompetitive conducts and in merger-review proceedings of national and international transactions, as well as in preventive counseling on competition law risks derived from commercial practices and market programs of leading companies. He also has notable track-record in advising companies in the development of antitrust compliance programs. Ricardo also advises clients on market regulation issues as well as international trade and commercial defense matters. Ricardo has also experience in advising insurance and reinsurance companies on contractual and regulatory matters, including representing clients before regulators.
