Career
Johnny has represented buyers and sellers in business acquisitions in a multitude of industries, including: software/technology, medical device, building supply, retail, advertising and manufacturing concerns. He currently serves as Practice Group Leader for the Business Services Group.
He regularly represents companies in drafting and negotiating technology licensing, manufacture, supply, distribution and sales representative agreements; investments in start-ups and early-stage technology companies; prosecution of federal and state trademark applications and copyright law; business acquisitions; and private business formation, organization and business planning.
He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® and Mid-South Super Lawyers® for his work. Johnny earned his B.B.A. from Mississippi State University and obtained his J.D. from the University of Mississippi. He is admitted to The Mississippi Bar, the Northern and Southern Districts of the U.S. District Court of Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals.
