Career

Francisco Javier Álvarez Campos is an associate who joined the Firm in 2011 and a member of our capital and debt markets, structured finance and mergers and acquisitions practice areas.

During his 10 years of practice, Francisco has been an active participant in numerous domestic and transnational transactions related to the issuance of equity and debt securities, both private and public, as well as structured finance and development capital certificates (certificados de capital de desarrollo – CKDs), representing issuers, investors, holders, structurers and financial intermediaries, debtors and creditors.

In addition, Francisco has been involved in numerous domestic and international transactions representing clients from a wide variety of industries, including private and governmental entities.

Francisco has contributed with the Mexican chapter in several global comparative guides on regulatory and financial issues. He is a graduate in law from the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City in which he also completed a specialization in corporate law, furthermore, Francisco has completed a master’s degree (LLM) and business certificate at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, honored as part of the dean’s list and being recognized as the best student of the program.
