Alec Bennett is a principal associate in our Human Resources Practice Group.

He advises both public and private sector clients on a range of employment and pensions law issues. He has particular expertise in providing legal advice on employment and pensions issues associated with employee transfers and TUPE (including on outsourcing, partnering, joint ventures, public sector companies and mutuals).

His recent experience includes advising on the employment and pensions issues on the creation of a number of local authority wholly owned companies; advising on the employment and pensions issues as part of shared service arrangements; advising clients on access arrangements to public sector pension schemes; advising multiple public sector employers on collective employment tribunal claims brought arising out of changes to their pension scheme and assisting clients with pensions ombudsman claims and pension scheme internal dispute resolution matters.
