Nick has over 20 years' experience as an employment lawyer and is a consultant in our HR practice group. Nick specializes in transfers of undertakings, change management and information and consultation including industrial relations. He advises household name clients on a range of issues. In addition to advising on the human resources aspects of outsourcing, corporate restructuring, business transfers, acquisitions and other transactions. Nick advises on senior executive contracts, consultancy agreements, overseas working, confidentiality and protection of trade secrets, restrictive covenants (including High Court injunction and enforcement proceedings) and boardroom disputes.

His recent experience includes: effecting senior management change in Thailand for a corporate with global operations; successfully pursuing outgoing management for breach of fiduciary duties for a private equity backed corporate; and restructure of operations in eight jurisdictions for an international corporate.

Nick is regarded by both Legal 500 and Chambers as a leading individual and is praised by clients who say "nothing is too much trouble for Nick night or day" and praise him for his "ability to keep calm under pressure".

Nick sits on the committee of the Birmingham Law Society and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
