Fiona is an associate in our human resources group specialising in pensions law.

Fiona advises corporate sponsors and trustee boards on a wide range of pensions issues. Her recent experience includes drafting scheme definitive documentation, advising on complex scheme closure and merger exercises, providing advice on the recently introduced pensions flexibilities, and advising in relation to buy-ins and buy-outs. Fiona initially trained as an employment lawyer and so has a particular interest in issues impacted by both pensions and employment law including discrimination and advising on changes to employment contracts (particularly when associated with pension scheme changes) and subsequent consultation obligations.

Fiona is an associate member of the Association of Pensions lawyers and a committee members of the Midlands Pensions Management Institute. Fiona regularly speaks at seminars and events and enjoys providing bespoke training to clients.
