Rod Lambert is a competition partner based in our Brussels and London offices. He advises upon EU and UK merger control, cartels, compliance and competition law aspects of commercial agreements. He is admitted in England & Wales, Scotland, Ireland and New Zealand and is a member of the Brussels Bar. He has extensive experience in the energy sector having advised numerous companies in the oil and gas sector in concentrated markets, in both the US and in the UKCS, upon merger control, antitrust investigations, compliance and international sanctions. He has also acted in the construction, chemicals, water, food and drink and renewables sectors. He has advised on complex issues of interconnection, access to infrastructure, long term supply chain arrangements and frequently deals with cases involving multiple regulatory authorities. He has defended joint investigations involving the Department of Justice, The European Commission and National Competition Authorities.
