Ali advises on a range of competition law matters including cartel investigations, market investigations, multi-jurisdictional merger control, and the application of competition law to commercial agreements and arrangements. He also devises compliance and training material for clients on competition law and ethics.

Ali’s recent experience includes working on a major ongoing European Commission cartel investigation, and acting for a large energy company in relation to the CMA’s energy market investigation. He has also provided advice in relation to UK and multi-jurisdictional mergers.
