Kallun is an associate in the Financial Services Dispute and Investigations team in London, and specialises in litigation and arbitration.

His recent experience includes:

• advising a Japanese company in a high-value LCIA arbitration in relation to a contractual dispute arising from a carbon credit purchase agreement;  
• advising a corporate trustee in relation to large-scale litigation proceedings;  
• advising a consortium of international oil companies on their rights under public international law, national and international investment law in respect to contracts granted by the Republic of the Sudan over blocks located wholly or partially within South Sudan;  
• a major international company in respect to a USD100+ million contractual dispute; a multinational company in relation to its investments involved in a complex fraud;  
• advising a major trading company in relation to a dispute with other shareholders of a foreign subsidiary; and, advising a leading Japanese technology company with respect to a €400 million patent licensing dispute.

Kallun is a member of the Eversheds Japan Business Group. He has lived and worked in Japan both in-house (for a major Japanese manufacturer) and in private practice. He speaks fluent Japanese at a professional level, and so can assist on any Japan-related matters or presentations to Japanese clients.
