Kate is a solicitor in our London Real Estate Litigation team. She has experience in a range of commercial real estate litigation matters such as dilapidations and service charge claims, rights of way, rights to light, forfeiture, opposed and unopposed lease renewals and nuisance actions. Since joining Eversheds she has worked for a number of energy providers in relation to contentious aspects of UK onshore wind projects. Her experience includes: Acting for a subsidiary of EDF in the first private noise nuisance case for an onshore UK wind farm; Acting for a private investor on rights to light matters arising from a prominent City development; Acting for well-known house builders in relation to rights to light matters on two prominent Central London developments; and Acting for Nestlé in a claim against its landlord for unreasonably withholding consent to assignment of one of its warehouse leases. She is recommended by the Legal 500 directory and ranked as an associate to watch in Chambers and Partners. She is also a member of the Property Litigation Association.
