Matthew is an Associate in our Shipping and International Trade Team and works on both contentious and non contentious matters.

The non contentious side of his work includes shipbuilding transactions, ship sale and purchase and related ship finance, recently advising on the operation and sale of a 45 metre superyacht. Matthew also advises on commercial contracts relating to ships, international trade and transport.

Matthew’s contentious work includes shipbuilding and sale and purchase disputes. Acting for both Owners and Charterers, Matthew advises on carriage of goods by sea, bill of lading, charterparty and general average claims.
