Peter is a part-qualified Trade Mark Attorney in The Branding Group having completed his professional examinations last year.

Prior to joining Eversheds, Peter commenced his training at a leading firm of trade mark attorneys based in London.

Peter works on a wide range of matters, including;

• trade mark clearance;
• advising on trade mark filing strategies;
• preparing, filing and instructing trade mark and design applications worldwide;
• prosecuting trade mark applications directly at the UK Intellectual Property Office ("UK IPO"), Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market ("OHIM"), and the World Intellectual Property Organisation ("WIPO");
• assisting in opposition, revocation and invalidity proceedings at the UK IPO and the OHIM;
• negotiating and drafting co-existence agreements;
• recording licences, assignments, changes of names/addresses at trade mark registries around the world;
• advising in relation to the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy and the Nominet Dispute Resolution Procedure;
• delivering training to clients.
