Michael Grimes

Michael is head of our UK Project and Infrastructure team and leads the waste practice.

He has been advising on waste projects for the last fourteen years. Michael is involved in all our waste work which includes various recycling and collection service contracts, PPP and PFI both nationally and internationally for both public and private sectors and design and build contracts for waste infrastructure. His team is currently advising on twelve ongoing procurements.

Michael regularly lectures on topical waste issues. He is regularly a recommended individual in Chambers Guide noted for his "dextrous handling of complex matters", in the 2010 edition is noted "as a great name in waste" and in 2011 he is noted for his deep knowledge of PFI, and Chambers state that "he is extremely approachable, applies common sense, shows good judgement and deals calmly with serious and stressful situations".
