Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas, officer (1992–1997) in charge of drafting legal rules to regulate foreign trade and customs operations; customs appraisal and import inspection specialist; adviser to the Peruvian state on the drafting of customs legislation and the creation, implementation and training in the operation of the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCE). Professor of customs law at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC).
