Position
Nick Hunsworth is a partner of Mayer Brown. He advises on all aspects of banking and commercial litigation. He has been involved in a broad variety of high-profile cases in Hong Kong covering a wide area of commercial disputes. He provides high level advice to financial institutions on a range of regulatory and compliance issues.
Nick also has extensive experience in administrative law remedies and appearances before domestic tribunals, including judicial reviews of decisions of professional bodies, regulators and members’ clubs. Nick has accredited Higher Rights of Audience (HRA) in respect of civil proceedings by way of exemption by the Law Society of Hong Kong.
Nick has been described by Chambers Asia-Pacific as a “a pre-eminent litigator in the market” (2015) He has been ranked as a Senior Statesman in Dispute Resolution by Chambers Asia-Pacific (since 2013); as a Leading Individual in Dispute Resolution by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (since 2008) and has received a “Lifetime Achievement in the Legal Profession” award from Chambers Asia Pacific (2015).
