Position

Mr. Soran is a partner in Fried Frank's Corporate Department and member of the Firm's Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice. Mr. Soran has significant experience representing private investment groups and public and private companies in mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, carve-out transactions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, growth equity investments, venture investments, secondary sales of private equity limited partnership interests and other corporate and governance matters.

Mr. Soran is a member of the Firmwide Diversity Committee and the NY Hiring Committee.

Education

Mr. Soran earned his JD from Brooklyn Law School, cum laude, where he was a member of the Brooklyn Law Journal of International Law and recipient of the Carswell Merit Scholarship in 2005. Mr. Soran received his BA from Tufts University, cum laude, in 1999.
