Position

Andrew is a counsel in Carey Olsen’s Guernsey office.

Andrew has over 12 years’ experience in connection with the structuring, formation and provision of ongoing advice to open-ended and closed-ended collective investment schemes including private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds and hedge funds. He has also advised upon significant and high value transactions, including court-sanctioned schemes of arrangement, group restructures and migrations.

Andrew advises a wide range of fund managers across Asia and Europe.

Career

Andrew joined Carey Olsen in 2007 having previously worked as a graduate lawyer with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in Australia. 

Education

Andrew has a Bachelor in Laws and a Bachelor in Economics from Adelaide University and qualified as a solicitor in 2004 (South Australia) and 2009 (England & Wales). Andrew is currently undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment with Macquarie University, Australia.
