IP and patent litigation.
Position
Partner in the IP department handling all aspects of IP litigation with a particular emphasis on patents, and related advisory work. His practice covers a diverse range of technical subject matter from 3G mobile telecommunications and optical data storage to immunoassay techniques and pharmaceuticals. He has acted in a number of high-profile IP disputes, including the Aerotel/Macrossan Court of Appeal ruling on patentability of business methods and software. Clients he has worked for in 2010/11 include Siemens, Pratt & Whitney and IPCom.
Career
Trained Freshfields; qualified 2002; associate Bristows 2002; partner 2011 to date.
