Max advises UK and international businesses on a wide range of legal issues. Max helps business owners and companies navigate all stages of the corporate lifecycle — from start-up through early and later stage fundraising, M&A and exits. Max has been ranked by Chambers UK and by Legal 500 in M&A and Capital Markets since 2014.

He has extensive experience of: —

• Cross-border M&A (public and private)
• LSE equity transactions (advising both issuers and banks on AIM and the Main Market)
• VC and early-stage / angel investment transactions (advising both investors and corporates)
• Joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements and LLC / LLP agreements
• Commercial contracts
• General corporate advice

Max also serves as a non-executive director, including as Chair of Trustees for School Food Matters. Max is fluent in French and is admitted to practice in New York as well as England and Wales.
