Lisa is a Corporate and Commercial/IP/IT/Media Solicitor. She is responsive, commercial, and enjoys working as a trusted advisor for start ups, SMEs, helping senior management of established businesses as well as supporting in-house legal as a trusted external adviser.

Lisa is glad to offer a regular General Counsel package to Start-ups, high-growth companies and SMEs (of several days a month).

Lisa has acted for a range of clients across a variety of sectors including e-commerce, media/tech, retail, hotels, medical and technology. She is known for her media work in film/TV, publishing, music, and theatre/opera/live events.

She assists growing businesses from their start-up and growth stage phases right through to exit. She consistently provides high quality work to her broad range of clients, and enjoys getting to the heart of a deal’s profitability and revenue streams.

Lisa’s experience includes advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, joint ventures, shareholder matters, investment and fundraising, commercial IP/IT and media contracts. Lisa is noted for her work with entrepreneurs looking to scale. She assists growing businesses from start-up and growth stage phases right through to exit. From equity investment rounds including seed, venture capital, to Series A and beyond plus related commercial IP/IT matters.

Her commercial work is extensive: IP assignments, JV deals, outsourcing, asset purchase agreements, technology development, SaaS deals, IP licensing, website terms, sale of goods, customer terms and conditions.

Her film/television work: options, co-productions, commissions, talent deals, distribution, pre-sales and associated finance agreements. Carriage. Regulatory. Fair dealing/defamation review.

Other media work: publishing, merchandising and music deals. Marketing and sponsorship.
