Career

Chris initially joined a firm based in Bedford to complete his two-year training contract, qualifying as a solicitor in 2015. Having gained considerable experience in Private Client Chris joined Pinney Talfourd in 2016.

Having joined Pinney Talfourd as a solicitor, Chris was promoted to Associate in 2018 and again to Senior Associate in 2021.

Chris plays an important role within the Private Client department supervising much of the teams probate work and holding 1-2-1 meetings with each of the lawyers on a monthly basis and working closely with the Head of Department, Matthew Edwards.

Chris is a highly experienced probate practitioner able to deal with a wide range of complex cases. Most of Chris’s cases include Inheritance Tax considerations.

Chris is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having competed his STEP Diploma in 2021. Chris has been recognised by Legal 500 on a number of occasions as a “rising star”.

Chris is a Lifetime Lawyer – part of the community of legal professionals on a mission to support vulnerable and older people with the right legal advice and a Dementia Friend.

Education

Christopher Dickinson studied for his law degree at Oxford Brookes university, graduating in 2011, before completing his legal practice course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice in 2012.
